Armed men demanded money from homeowner then fled: police

RCMP in Saint-Quentin say they are looking for the public’s help following a home invasion.

According to police, two men, one wearing a mask and one armed with a weapon, entered a home on Heritage Street in Saint-Quentin, halfway between Grand Falls and Campbellton, on Sunday, Nov. 19, at around 8:40 p.m.

Police say the two men demanded money from the homeowner then the scene with an undisclosed amount of money before police arrived.

RCMP say one suspect is described as white, with a medium build and about five-foot-eight. The second suspect wore a black face mask and black clothing, police said.

According to police, both men spoke in French and are believed to be in their 40s.
